Nespresso opens second Perth Boutique in Karrinyup
Nespresso has opened its second store in Western Australia, opening its doors before Christmas in the Karrinyup Centre, situated just north of the Perth CBD.
Known as a Boutique, the store includes a circular tasting area, machine gallery and accessory collection and pick up area to collect orders made over the phone.
“Perth is a very exciting market for Nespresso,” said Nicole Parker, marketing and communication manager for Nespresso Oceania.
“The opening of the first Nespresso Boutique three years ago on Perth’s Murray Street Mall has been extremely successful. This new Boutique will offer coffee-lovers the premium service and expertise they have come to expect from Nespresso, in a location convenient to them.”
Nespresso has two boutiques in Brisbane, three apiece in Sydney and Melbourne, and one in both Canberra and Adelaide.
The Boutique is home to an installation titled “Bush Journey” created by the Balarinji Studio, a leading Indigenous design company. Featuring more than 1,500 Nespresso capsules, the artwork depicts the ceremonial path clans follow across ancient lands, enacting the stories of the dreaming.
Proceeds from the installation will go towards a Jumbana Group Project, Indi Kindi, an early Indigenous literacy partnership which uses Balarinji images to help improve literacy and numeracy amongst young, remote region Aboriginal children.
