Giro Pack shows off fashion-wrapped bags

Giro Pack Inc. showed off mesh bags with new fashion film wraps at the Northwest Hort Expo, Kennewick.

The window bag, for example, has a wrap cutout providing more visibility to the fruit inside, said Cari Wickersham of Giro Pack.

The Girsac can be custom wrapped, such as one ordered by Borton Fruit that was shaped like an alligator, complete with finger holes that double as animal eyes.

Even with the more traditional handled Ultrabag, Giro Pack is able to custom print messages on the handles, Wickershan said.

The plastic wrap is applied over the mesh and can be welded in place, depending on customer preference.
